Position Overview
A fantastic opportunity has become available for a registered veterinary nurse to join a talented nursing team. Experience in MRI, CT, advanced surgery, and anaesthesia is crucial, as the position involves supporting referral surgeons in treating orthopaedic and neurological surgical cases.
This is a permanent, full-time role, requiring 40 hours of work per week over five days, with a mix of early and late shifts. The position also includes weekend shifts on a rotational basis, with time off in lieu.
The clinic is a fully equipped referral centre, featuring a dedicated operating theatre, digital x-ray, ultrasound, and endoscopy, along with access to MRI and CT scanners. Currently, the clinic is undergoing expansion and refurbishment to further enhance the working environment.

Key Responsibilities
This role is centred around delivering exceptional care to patients, clients, and colleagues. Key duties include:
* Assisting with surgeries and procedures, including all pre- and post-operative care.
* Conducting nurse-led appointments and performing schedule 3 activities.
* Providing patient monitoring and care.
* Overseeing admissions and discharges as directed by the veterinary team.
* Dispensing and verifying medications.
* Maintaining compliance with all regulatory, practice, and operational standards.
* Leading team briefings to ensure efficient practice operations.
Required Qualifications and Experience
* RCVS registered Veterinary Nurse.
* Proven track record in delivering high-quality patient and client care.
* Demonstrated ability to work effectively as part of a team.
* Expertise in advanced imaging techniques, such as MRI and CT.
* Strong coaching and leadership skills to support team development.
