Main duties of the job Providing the best care for our local population is a key driver for the department, we are looking to continue to develop a sustainable service that is based around ongoing development, a few examples of our current achievements and future plans include: A well-established team of chemotherapy trained nurses that has recently been increase to support with increasing demand, this team includes two non-malignant CNS Consultant Pharmacist and specialist Oncology pharmacist support - with prescribing for chemotherapy and also clinics A brand new aseptic preparation facilities to future proof the local pharmacy service alongside a refurbishment for our day unit facilities Both CNS and Pharmacy led clinics which is set to increase in the future A dedicated mobile unit to deliver treatment within the community, with a second unit due to launch in November 2021 We have a well-established joint weekly MDT with Bradford Royal Infirmary.
