Key Responsibilities:

Stakeholder Engagement: Build and maintain effective relationships with key journalists, particularly those in energy and consumer sectors across broadcast, print, and digital platforms.
Crisis Management: Act as the lead for issue resolution, working collaboratively across communication teams, including digital, public affairs, and social media.
Strategic Storytelling: Develop and deliver proactive messaging to communicate the corporate vision effectively.
Broadcast Coordination: Manage logistics for interviews and filming, ensuring professional execution.
Cross-Functional Collaboration: Liaise with internal departments (e.g., Marketing, Legal, HR) to align messaging and handle media-related challenges.
Advisory Role: Serve as a trusted advisor, providing guidance on media strategy and communications.
On-Call Duties: Participate in an out-of-hours rotation to manage urgent media inquiries.Qualifications and Experience:
Professional Background: Demonstrated experience in media relations, public relations, or journalism, with a focus on national or regional news.
Industry Knowledge: Familiarity with regulated industries, particularly energy, is advantageous but not essential.
