The global team has successfully managed deals involving assets from over 30 countries. They provide expert assistance to issuers and originators of securitised assets, as well as to underwriters, managers, trustees, and investors. Their expertise spans public and private stand-alone issues, master trusts, programs, and conduit structures. They consistently advise on groundbreaking and innovative deals, including the financing of both traditional and novel asset types. For instance, they recently provided guidance on marketplace lending in the Fintech sector. With a deep knowledge of the regulatory landscape, they are well-equipped to position clients for success.
The successful candidate will play a crucial role in advising a diverse client base on a broad range of structured finance and securitisation matters. This includes asset-backed securities, mortgage-backed securities, and collateralised debt obligations. The role demands a meticulous approach to complex transactions, regulatory challenges, and innovative financial products.
Ideal Candidate
- A qualified solicitor with NQ to 4 years PQE, ideally with a focus on capital markets or structured finance. (NQ candidates must have excellent academics, and have completed their training contract at a large global, or national firm).
- A robust understanding of securitisation techniques and the regulatory landscape.
- Proven analytical and problem-solving skills, with a keen eye for detail.
- Exceptional communication abilities, both written and verbal, with the capacity to articulate complex legal concepts clearly.
- A collaborative mindset, with a commitment to contributing to a team's success.
