Experienced Exams Officer - South Birmingham We are seeking an experienced Exams Officer to join a school in South Birmingham as soon as possible. This is a full-time role, working Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM - 4:00 PM. Key Responsibilities: Overseeing the administration and organisation of all internal and external examinations, ensuring they are conducted in line with JCQ and exam board regulations. Managing the exam entry and registration process, liaising with exam boards, staff, and students. Timetabling and coordinating exam rooms, invigilators, and access arrangements. Ensuring accurate data entry and maintenance of exam records, including candidate registrations, results, and certificates. Communicating key exam information to students, staff, and parents, including timetables and procedural guidance. Managing the secure storage and distribution of exam papers and materials. Supporting with post-results services, including appeals, remarks, and issuing results. Key Requirements: Previous experience working as an Exams Officer in a school setting. Strong organisational and administrative skills with attention to detail. Up-to-date knowledge of exam board regulations and procedures. Ability to work under pressure and meet strict deadlines. Excellent communication and IT skills, with experience using exam management software.
