Relief Chef Manager - Bury St Edmunds
Caterlink is the education sector catering specialist. For over 20 years, the Company has delivered fresh food solutions to pupils and staff at Primary Schools, Secondary Schools and Colleges across the UK, catering more than 1,000,000 meals a week. We are hiring for a School Relief Chef Manager to provide cover in the area between Haverhill, Bury St Edmunds & Newmarket to support our existing site-based teams. This role is working term-time only and no weekends, making it great for those looking for flexibility. This role will be mobile-based, so you will therefore need to have your own transport.
The role:
* £12.21 - £14.50 per hour
* 35 hours per week working Monday - Friday
* Term-time only - working 38 weeks per year
Your key responsibilities will include:
* Preparing, cooking and presenting food to the standards required by Caterlink and the client
* Ensuring that our locations meet statutory and company requirements of Health and Safety, Food Safety and environmental legislations and procedures
* Enhancing the company's reputation for excellent food and service with the client and customers, consistently exceeding expectations
* Supporting the day-to-day running of the location and supervising teams, including managing inventories, monitoring budgets, and implementing action plans
