Igne are seeking a Labourer to join the team in Presteigne, Powys.
The Waterwells division of Igne specializes in providing cost-effective, high-quality and independent water supplies to both private and public sector clients. With over 350 years of combined experience in borehole drilling, they are one of the UK’s leading water supply specialists.
The successful candidate will assist and support the Lead Driller with the operation of drilling, construction, and installation of water supply boreholes. This role would suit someone who enjoys working outdoors and is able to work across the UK.

Key Responsibilities:
1. Assisting and supporting in the drilling, construction, and installation of water supply boreholes
2. Transportation of drilling rig and specialist plant equipment
3. Assist with set up and operation of the drilling rig and specialist plant equipment
4. Maintain and carry out routine maintenance on equipment
Person Specification:
1. Full UK driving licence (travel is a requirement)
2. Able to work within a high-pressured environment
3. Clear communication skills (written and verbal)
4. Willingness to work outdoors in all weathers and stay away from home as required
5. CSCS card and hold a full driver licence (travel across the UK is required)
6. Experience of working within a construction-related environment
7. An awareness of general H&S regulations

1. Salary on offer is c£29,000 for a 44.5 hour week, plus overtime
