Fixed Term Contract - 3 Months
JOB PURPOSE
To work in the Commercial Banking Department assisting senior relationship managers of new corporate clients, business development in the target market and maintenance of existing corporate relationships. The Assistant Relationship Manager will assist in the day-to-day admin and credit-related tasks of the Commercial Banking Department.
KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
* Develop a relationship with clients and be the point of contact in the absence of Senior Relationship Managers (SRMs).
* Conducting basic credit reviews such as inputting information on Credit Proposals& basic Credit Memo updates. Inputting client’s financial information on the Bank’s systems.
* Assisting SRMs in managing credit admin tasks such as collating information from clients such as Insurance, Financial Information, KYC documentation etc.
* Ability to priorities and work to tight deadlines, assist other team members during peak hours.
* Referring any new clients to SRMs/HoC who require term financing, work capital financing, trade financing and Real Estate financing.
* Input data to maintain accurate records relating to the portfolio to ensure data quality/MI reporting remains robust.
* Assisting HoC in assigned projects/tasks.
* Building relationships with other departments of HBL Bank UK
* Develop a relationship with other HBL’s global network jurisdictions.
Minimum qualifications:
* Excellent communication skills– Professional writing and speaking skills
* Understanding of Financial Statements - P&L, Balance Sheet & Cashflow.
* BA/BSc qualification
Experience, Skills & Competencies:
* Minimum 2 – 3 years ’experience in UK Retail/Commercial/Corporate Banking
* Experience in Customer Services
* Experience in credit analysis
* Strong MS Office, Excel & PowerPoint skills.
