Account Manager – Tamworth/Remote
£28,845 basic, plus up to £2,000 Bonus per quarter with opportunity to earn annual bonus. OTE £35,000- £40,000 + Excellent Company Benefits

Key Responsibilities:
As an Account Manager, you will be responsible for the retention, growth, reactivation and development of a group of customers within a given independent region.
1. Develop profitable sales growth across existing customer base by:
2. Develop sound understanding of customer map of the world
3. Understanding competitor activity and market insights
4. Proactively managing customer retention and reducing churn
5. Growing share of wallet and building a pipeline across product categories
6. Up to date product and service knowledge
7. Proactively identify new business opportunities and work collaboratively with ASM and BDM to convert and onboard them
8. Utilise data and insight in order to develop proactive approach to reactivation of lapsed customers
9. Actively manage risk within the customer base, including lost sales and credit exposure
10. Develop account plans and contact strategy in order to maximise customer contact and foster and maintain robust customer relationships that grow profitable sales.
11. Commercially aware in order to actively interrogate, interpret and act upon various data sources including:Sales/Margin reporting
12. Churn reports and dashboardsUp traders/Down traders dataPrice, cost and margin detailSales tools and promotional activity

Required skills and competencies:
20. Previous experience in a structured sales or telesales environment
21. Results Orientated, successfully delivering against targets in a competitive marketplace
22. Proven ability to work in a KPI focused, target driven environment
23. Excellent communication skills both verbal and written
24. Outstanding active listening skills with an ability to engage and influence customers and stakeholders at all levels.
25. First class negotiating skills with strong commercial awareness
26. Ability to work under pressure with a sense of urgency to work in a deadline driven environment
27. Proactive approach with proven ability to manage multiple and changing priorities
28. Confident user of Microsoft Office applications, excel, PowerPoint, word etc.
29. Strong planning and organisation skills.
30. Self-motivated with the ability to operate effectively both individually and as part of a team.
