Job Description: Trainee Parts Advisor
About the Role
We are seeking a motivated individual to join our dynamic and experienced parts team as a Trainee Parts Advisor. In this role, you will receive comprehensive workplace training, equipping you with the skills and knowledge needed to progress towards becoming a fully qualified Parts Advisor.
You will undertake a structured training programme, beginning with warehousing duties and gaining familiarity with the daily operations of the Parts department. As you advance, you will receive training in IT systems, key performance indicators (KPIs), and technical aspects of the role.
This position is ideal for a proactive individual who enjoys setting and achieving goals and is committed to advancing their career.
Key Responsibilities
* Engage with customers, understand their needs, and provide advice on additional parts or services.
* Match orders with stock items and source any required parts.
* Collaborate closely with the service team, ensuring that exceptional customer service is consistently delivered.
* Communicate effectively with customers via telephone, face-to-face, or email.
* Ensure efficient internal and external communication regarding orders.
* Manage goods in and out, maintaining high standards of quality and efficiency.
* Work with suppliers to place orders or process returns, ensuring accurate documentation.
