A fantastic opportunity has arisen to join a well-established team in Alveston to support three gentlemen with learning disabilities and/or autism to live their best lives. Full-time or part-time hours are available.
Ancora is a small, supported living service just outside of Thornbury, in Alveston. The service supports three older gentlemen with learning disabilities and/or autism. The service provides a homely environment with a well-established, experienced team. It is a perfect opportunity to learn new skills and gain new experiences by utilising the knowledge of the existing team members.

As a Support Worker, you will encourage positive self-image, maintain health and wellbeing, assist with decision-making, and promote independence.
Supporting people to develop and maintain contact with family and friends, you will provide access to the community, enabling the people we support to participate in sports clubs, social events, and creative endeavours.
You may support with managing tenancy issues and help with personal care and daily living skills, as well as administering medication.
The successful Support Worker will:

* Be pro-active and use your own initiative to problem solve.
