Responsibilities: As a Band 6/7 Locum Audiologist you will be responsible for managing an adult audiology caseload, conducting comprehensive audiological assessments, and providing rehabilitation services. This includes performing diagnostic tests, interpreting results, and developing individualized treatment plans to address hearing and balance disorders. You will collaborate closely with ENT specialists and other healthcare professionals to ensure a multidisciplinary approach to patient care. Additionally, you will maintain accurate patient records, participate in clinical audits, and contribute to the continuous improvement of our audiology services. Your role will also involve providing education and support to patients and their families, ensuring they understand their conditions and treatment options. Qualifications and Experiences: Degree in Audiology and registration with the Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC). Proven experience in adult audiology. Strong clinical skills in audiological assessment, diagnosis, and treatment planning. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary team.
