Vehicle Technician
The starting rate of pay is likely to be circa £14-16 per hour; however, this is entirely based on experience. Access to a VHC bonus scheme providing an additional monthly bonus. Overtime, subject to availability, is paid at time and a half rate. 30 days annual leave (including bank holidays). Access to full in-house and manufacturer-accredited training. Workplace pension scheme. Fantastic long-term career prospects with one of the largest car dealer groups in South Wales. Working hours are 40 per week, Monday to Friday 8:30 am-5:00 pm and 1 in 4 Saturday mornings 8:30 am-12:00 pm, paid additionally at time and a half.
An exciting opportunity has become available for an Automotive Vehicle Technician / Vehicle Mechanic within a car dealer group located in Carmarthenshire.
Our Automotive Client has a need for a Vehicle Technician or Vehicle Mechanic who is motivated and able to work to their own initiative.
Typical Duties as a Vehicle Technician / Vehicle Mechanic include but are not limited to:
1. Carrying out Servicing and Repairs to a variety of Vehicles
2. MOT Testing
3. Performing Diagnostic Testing to identify Vehicle Faults
4. Ensuring that paperwork is completed to the highest of standards
Vehicle Technician / Vehicle Mechanic Requirements:
1. A Fully Qualified Vehicle Technician NVQ Level 3 or equivalent
2. A Current and Valid UK Driving Licence
3. Dedicated and committed approach
4. Your job as a Vehicle Technician will be your passion and you will enjoy all aspects of your work
5. Your own Vehicle Technician tools
The salary of this Vehicle Technician role is up to £29,120 basic.
