My client is looking to add a procurement manager to their team!
You will be joining an industry leader, who has a great team with vast experience to help support you and your career.
Key Accountabilities:
1. Lead the sourcing process for high-value, complex opportunities, ensuring commercial and contractual value is delivered.
2. Implement Integrated Category Strategies to maximise savings and benefits, in collaboration with Category Managers and stakeholders.
3. Manage sourcing for opportunities outside ICS, ensuring compliance with governance, risk, and regulatory requirements for spend between £100m and £300m.
4. Negotiate sourcing savings and benefits, collaborating with stakeholders to meet or exceed savings targets.
5. Develop innovative sourcing solutions to address business challenges, leveraging market expertise.
6. Ensure smooth transition from sourcing execution to Strategic Supplier Management to optimise value post-contract.
7. Challenge customer requirements to maximise group-wide commercial value, using effective engagement and influencing strategies across a complex organisation.
8. Oversee continuous improvement in sourcing processes, customer satisfaction, and procurement practices.
9. Foster best-in-class sourcing practices, enhancing team capability and supporting the employer of choice goal.
Essential experience:
* Public sector regulations - UCR/PCR & new procurement act modules
* Managed tenders end to end & able to create frameworks
* Able to work autonomously, but will be coached and developed to succeed.
Salary: £50,000 - £60,000 plus bonus!
