The Senior Relationship Manager role will operate at director level and will be required to source, develop and pro:actively manage a reputable and long:term profitable portfolio of high:net:worth clients and family offices, when applicable. You will provide the relationship management and business development activities with Middle East clients predominately
predominately based in Qatar,
Kuwait and Bahrain
using the full range of company products and services. This role will also Interact with other parts of Private Banking and the Group for the mutual benefit of HSBC and the client as well as assist the Market Head in executing the market strategy.

Grow revenue, increase Assets Under Management (AUM) of portfolio and increase inflows of net new money (NNM), achieving growth by leveraging brand, channels and RM network.

Work collaboratively with Investment Counsellors, Wealth Planners, and other relevant teams such as the Product Specialists network to develop client relationships.
:
Maintain an understanding of economic, business, tax, property, legal and other relevant matters to a standard that is commensurate with the nature of the existing and target client base.

Leading by example through high financial results and offering coaching to other RMs to create opportunities to aid their professional development.
:
Works closely with other Bank Departments to maintain HSBC internal control standards, including timely implementation of internal and external audit points together with any issues raised by external regulators.

Ensures follow:up on all risk and compliance issues (such as CCR, KYC, Compliance requests, Risk Management requests, Internal Audit requests)

Extensive relationship management coupled with a significant level of experience within Private Banking is a requirement for the role.

A proven track record in asset gathering, asset growth and revenue generation is essential for clients resident in Qatar.

Highly developed communication skills for use in direct client contact and problem solving.

Ability to provide strong financial and statistical analysis.
:
Strong customer service focus with attention to detail and the ability to think creatively to solve problems.

Candidates should ideally already hold the RDR Level 4 qualification with the requirement to achieve Level 6 within 12 months of joining.

Arabic language skills would be a plus but isn't essential.
