Job Title: Marketing Executive / Marketing Assistant
Reports to: Head of Marketing
Hours: 37.5 per week
Location: Northampton/ Milton Keynes – Hybrid (2/3 days in the office per week)
What’s the role?
This is a hands-on marketing role where you’ll be at the heart of delivering key activities—from content creation and lead generation to social media management, event coordination, and internal communications. Your work will play a vital role in enhancing brand awareness, engaging audiences, and driving successful marketing campaigns.
With your manager’s support, you’ll be rolling up your sleeves and getting stuck in—creating impactful content and bringing marketing strategies to life. If you’re ready to take action and make a real impact, this role is for you!
Key Responsibilities:
* Social Media Management: Plan, create, and schedule engaging content across all major platforms to grow brand reach and engagement.
* Content Creation: Write, edit, and proofread marketing materials, including blog posts, website content, newsletters, and press releases.
* Video Editing & Design: Produce high-quality visual and video content to support marketing campaigns and enhance engagement – you need to know your way around Canva & Adobe Creative Suite.
* Web Content Management: Maintain and update website content to ensure accuracy, relevance, and SEO effectiveness.
* Lead Generation: Support the execution of campaigns that drive inbound leads through targeted email marketing, SEO, and paid advertising.
* Internal Communications: Assist in the development and delivery of internal communications, ensuring consistency in messaging and engagement across teams.
* Event Management: Support the planning and execution of events, webinars, and exhibitions, ensuring a seamless experience for attendees.
* Project Planning: Assist in coordinating marketing projects, ensuring timely delivery and alignment with strategic goals.
* SEO Optimisation: Assist in optimising website content and digital campaigns to improve search engine rankings and performance.
* CRM Management: Use our CRM to track leads, measure campaign effectiveness, and support marketing automation.
* Supplier engagement: Brief different media, print or production agencies on the tasks that cannot be completed in-house and oversee delivery.

Experience:
* 2+ years of experience in a marketing role, preferably in a B2B environment.
* Hands-on experience in social media management, content creation, and campaign execution.
* Video editing and design experience using tools such as Adobe Creative Suite & Canva.
* Familiarity with website content management systems (e.g. WordPress) and SEO principles.
* Experience in event coordination and project planning is a plus.
* Working knowledge of CRM systems and digital marketing tools.
Qualifications:
* Degree in Marketing, Communications, or a related field (or equivalent professional experience).
* A full clean driving licence is desirable as you will be required to drive between offices for meetings.
