As a UK manufacturer, it allows us to design, prototype, and manufacture onsite, ensuring quality and consistency for our products. We are looking to expand our reach into new product sectors and geographical regions and are looking for the right person to support and grow this area.
Role Description
This is a full-time on-site role for a Sales Manager at Specialised Covers Ltd in Shipley. The Sales Manager will be responsible for driving sales, building and maintaining customer relationships, developing sales strategies, and achieving sales targets. Additionally, the Sales Manager will collaborate with the marketing team to promote products and services.
Role and Responsibilities:
1. Lead & develop sales strategy to successfully expand into new markets and categories.
2. Generate sales in accordance with the KPI’s set for the department whilst maintaining the required profit margins.
3. Establish & maintain a personal portfolio of customers to secure ongoing sales opportunities through the management of these relationships.
4. Lead & motivate the Sales & Customer Service team to exceed on delivering exceptional service & meeting the business targets.
5. Collaborate with Marketing & Design to deliver new product development.
6. Monitor & analyse activity of competitors & the market, making recommendations for the Company by identifying new market/product opportunities.
7. Attend key meetings &/or industry events & conferences to promote the Company & generate new business leads by acting as a business spokesperson.
8. Identify key areas for improvement in the sales process & take ownership & accountability to deliver these changes.
9. Lead the strategic objectives as defined by the business across the Sales department, working collaboratively across the business to develop & implement the strategy.
10. Attend weekly/monthly meetings with other senior members of the business.
11. Monthly reporting on sales performance against budget & reporting on variances.
12. Ensure all Company processes & policies are adhered to.

Experience:
1. Minimum 3 years experience as Sales Account Manager, BDM or similar role.
2. Proven track record of developing new business.
3. Commercial experience in delivering sales growth.
4. Strong presentation skills with the ability to influence & conduct customer negotiations.
5. People management experience of leading, managing & developing a team to consistently exceed targets.
6. Desire to be the best in everything you do with an ability to create a motivated & collaborative culture.
7. Understanding of Microsoft Office, Word, Excel, Powerpoint, Xero & Katana.
8. Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
