Position: School Mental Health Assistant

Role Overview:
Are you an aspiring Education Psychologist, Clinical Psychologist, Occupational Therapist, or mental health support worker? If you are passionate about working with children with special educational and emotional needs, this could be the job for you!
We are seeking a School Mental Health Assistant to work within a SEND School in Milton Keynes. The school is particularly interested in Psychology and Criminology graduates who are aspiring Education Psychologists, Clinical Psychologists, or Occupational Therapists.
Responsibilities:
1. Support students with various needs including Social, Emotional, Mental Health (SEMH), Autism, and behavioral difficulties.
2. Provide consistent support to ensure the children's progression.
3. Work collaboratively with staff to create a positive learning environment.
Qualifications:
We are looking for committed individuals who want to work for at least 12 months. Some experience working with children in various settings would be beneficial, but personality and motivation within this field are just as important!
