Weekend Receptionist-Required at Birkin Lodge Nursing Home in Tunbridge Wells, Part of the Country Court Family Hours: 12 Hours Every Weekend (1000 to 1600 Each Saturday & Sunday) Located in Tunbridge Wells & just 10 minutes from the train station, Birkin Lodge Nursing Home offers compassionate family-led nursing & residential care. Led by the manager the staff create an environment for the residents where they feel comfortable & safe. ABOUT THE RECEPTIONIST ROLE Our receptionists are key in providing our colleagues with support in a multitude of areas including filing, maintaining personal records for both staff and Residents, answering the telephone, greeting new visitors to the Home, providing diary management assistance, clerical support and working with our activities team. You will need to have acute attention to detail, excellent customer service & communication skills, be a real team player, adaptable, have excellent computer skills and knowledge, be positive and have the ability to build relationships easily with people from all walks of life. ABOUT YOU As the receptionist you will be the first person everyone meets in our luxury care home, so we are looking for someone with fantastic customer service and a warm, welcoming personality Previous experience as a receptionist or administration support. Experience in providing face to face customer service. Ability to meet deadlines as required & prioritise work. Good general IT Skills using email, word, excel and the internet. Ability to warmly and professionally communicate both verbally and in writing.
