An exciting leadership opportunity has arisen for an ambitious and dedicated Head of Science to join a forward-thinking secondary school in Bordon, Hampshire. The successful candidate will lead a collaborative and well-resourced Science Department, overseeing the delivery of an engaging and rigorous curriculum across Biology, Chemistry and Physics at Key Stages 3 and 4. Science is a popular and high-profile subject within the school, supported by specialist teachers and experienced technicians.
This is an ideal role for an experienced science teacher with a passion for leadership and a vision for raising attainment and promoting a love of science across the school community.
We are looking for someone who:
* Has proven experience of teaching all three sciences to GCSE level (AQA Trilogy and Separate Sciences).
* Demonstrates a track record of strong outcomes and inspiring teaching practice.
* Has the ability to lead, motivate and support a successful team of teachers and technicians.
* Is strategic, well-organised and passionate about curriculum development and raising standards.
