Inpatient Weekend Physiotherapist

Salary of up to £38,500 per annum (pro rata), depending on experience
7.5 hours per week

Due to an increased workload over the weekends, we now have this requirement. There is the opportunity for overtime also. Our expert physiotherapists are here to rehabilitate patients to optimal functional recovery following surgery.
The hospital is brilliantly placed to support and mentor the successful candidate for this role, alongside our academy training programs.
As a Physiotherapist you will:
* See a wide range of pre and post-surgery patients undertaking orthopaedic or gynaecology surgery
* Cover inpatient caseload
* Work within a multidisciplinary team including nurses, AHPs and consultants to optimise the health and recovery of our patients
* Adhere to our values and beliefs at Nuffield Health, encouraging behaviour that is enterprising, passionate, independent, and caring
* Deliver excellent clinical care that is evidence-based, safe, effective, caring, well-led, and responsive to our patients’ needs
* Ensure ongoing monitoring of the standard of treatment provided
* Be compliant with all professional, clinical and integrated governance standards and participate in clinical audit and other quality assurance processes
What are we looking for in our Physiotherapists?
* We require a BSc in Physiotherapy or equivalent and you’ll be registered with the Health and Care Professions Council
* Demonstrate evidence of further professional training and continual professional development, reflecting your desire to develop as a practitioner
* Be a confident communicator with the ability to engage effectively with the general public and other healthcare professionals
* Demonstrate excellent manual therapy skills
* Have the ability to prioritise and manage your varied workload effectively and timely
* Previous experience of treating post-operative orthopaedic patients
