We are seeking a dynamic and well-connected Business Development Executive to open new doors and grow Ca' Pietra Group’s presence across both the retailer and trade spaces. This individual will leverage existing business relationships, industry networks, and expertise to target and engage key players in the interior design, architecture, luxury project development, and retail showroom sectors. The role will focus on both inbound and outbound lead generation, nurturing these opportunities to ensure a steady flow of qualified prospects that will be handed off to the sales team for continued management.
The ideal candidate will be exceptional at cultivating new business, creating meaningful connections, and driving Ca' Pietra Group’s brand presence among top-tier design professionals.

This role is available as a Remote, Hybrid, or office based role. We're looking for the right candidate and so we want to be flexible to work with you.
Principle Accountabilities
Lead Generation & Outreach:
* Use existing industry relationships and networking to open new business opportunities within the retailer and trade spaces.
* Target key segments such as interior design firms, architectural practices, house-building groups, luxury project developers, hospitality interiors and key showrooms to increase brand visibility and product uptake.
Relationship Building:
* Proactively generate new leads through a combination of outbound strategies, including cold calling, email outreach, attending industry events, and leveraging industry connections.
* Engage with inbound leads, understanding their needs and introducing Ca' Pietra’s products and services as solutions for their projects or retail offerings.
Lead Nurturing & Relationship Management:
* Warm up inbound and outbound leads by maintaining regular communication, providing detailed product information, and aligning Ca' Pietra’s offerings with the specific needs of potential clients.
* Build long-term relationships with key decision-makers and influencers in the design, retail, and construction industries.
Collaboration with Sales Team:
* Once leads are sufficiently warmed up, transition them to the sales team, ensuring all relevant information and context is provided for a smooth handoff.
* Work closely with the sales team to ensure they have the necessary details and support to convert leads into actual sales.
Market and Industry Intelligence:
* Stay informed about market trends, competitor activities, and industry developments within the interior design, hospitality, architecture, and luxury building sectors.
* Provide feedback to leadership on emerging opportunities and changing market dynamics to refine outreach strategies.
Achieve Business Growth Targets:
* Work towards KPIs and sales targets, tracking the success of outreach initiatives and the effectiveness of lead nurturing strategies.
* Help drive Ca' Pietra’s expansion and market share within the retail and trade sectors by continuously opening new doors and generating new business.
Lead Nurturing:
* Effectively "warm-up" leads by maintaining consistent communication and support, answering questions, and offering tailored solutions.
* Ensure that all opportunities are fully developed, with the goal of lining up projects for the sales team & continued strong sales interest.
General
* Comply with the Health and Safety policy and procedures
* Take part in meetings as a team member and actively share experience knowledge and solutions with colleagues
* Exercise absolute integrity in respect of confidential matters
* Take an active part in the performance review process and required training
