The NHS England Commercial & Procurement Hub has been delivering high priority, fast-paced national programmes for 9 years, stepping into rapid delivery to support NHS England teams in national transformation programmes in digital primary care. We are an integral part of the NHS England Digital Primary Care Team, supporting them directly in their responsibilities and objectives.
Main Duties of the Job
We offer a range of procurement roles suited to motivated individuals who want to be part of a successful team delivering for the NHS, making a real impact on patients and systems.
The Hub's role is to support the delivery of NHS England programmes to digitise primary care, improving access for patients as laid down in NHS England's Modern General Practice Model and the Delivery Plan for Recovering Access to Primary Care. We provide a free-to-use service for customers, including all c6,300 general practices, all 41 Integrated Care Boards, and all 7 Regions within NHS England. Our work impacts wider system partners as systems join together to support patients throughout their healthcare journey.

Job Responsibilities

Education
* Educated to master's level or equivalent experience in a senior specialist area.
* Evidence of post-qualifying and continuing professional development.
* Formal CIPS membership or level 4 NVQ in procurement.
* Foundation course in PRINCE2 project management is desirable.

Knowledge & Experience
* Experience in communications and stakeholder management.
* Experience of managing and motivating a team and reviewing individual performance.
* Extensive knowledge of specialist areas, acquired through postgraduate diploma or equivalent experience or training.
