The ODS Parks and Open Spaces Team are committed to providing a quality, effective and efficient service to the residents and visitors of Oxford. We carry out the maintenance of the Parks, Open Spaces and Cemeteries across the City.
We have an exciting opportunity for a Landscape and Countryside Supervisor to join ODS’s Countryside Service. This is a very practical role which involves the general upkeep and development of over 900 acres of Countryside (which includes a Country Park and SSSI sites), whilst protecting plant and animal life. In addition to the practical elements of the role, the post holder will act as a representative of ODS and engage with the public on why it is important to look after our environment.. Additionally, the post holder will be overseeing the city’s playgrounds’ inspections, repairs, and maintenance. The successful post holder will be responsible for managing a team of countryside rangers and a team of playground inspectors and a landscape gardener.
If you believe this is you and you are interested in being part of our dynamic organisation, we welcome your application.
