The Role
Fortem Solutions are currently recruiting for an Electrical Qualifying Supervisor to join our brand new Cambridge Housing Society contract, based in the head office in Cambridge.
The Client
Our contract with Cambridge Housing Society is brand new and launching on April 1st. This will be a long term partnership with houses covering the whole of Cambridgeshire, from Wisbech down to Haverhill, although primarily situated in central Cambridge. There are nearly 3,000 properties, mostly houses and flats, and we will be looking after their Repairs, Voids, Cyclical Works and Planned workstreams.
Duties & Responsibilities
As our Electrical Supervisor you will ensure that Fortem complies with all electrical regulations and maintains its registration as an NICEIC approved electrical contractor.
You will have day to day responsibility for the safety, technical standard and quality of all categories of electrical work including installation, certification of works, repairs and alterations carried out under the scope of the contract.
What You Will Need
Essential Criteria:
* City & Guilds (C&G) Part 1 & 2 in Electrical installation (2360) or Level 3 Electrotechnical (2330)
* If after 1996 - NVQ Level 3 Certificate (2356) or C&G 2330 Level 3 electro technical qualification or C&G 2365 / 2357 NVQ Level 3 Diploma in Electrical Installation (Buildings and Structures)
* C&G 2360 Electrical Installation Work Course A & B
* NVQ Level 3 Electrotechnical Services (2356)
* C&G Current BS 7671 Certificate (2382-12)
* 18th Edition
* City & Guilds 2391 Testing & Inspection certificate
* NICEIC Qualifying Supervisor experience
* Flexibility to undertake regular travel
Desirable Criteria:
* JIBP Health & Safety Test Certificate with current JIBP card
* City & Guilds 2377 Pat Testing certificate
* Unvented Hot Water certificate
* Domestic Installer (Part P)
* C&G PAT Certificate (2377)
