Warehouse Operative Humdinger, Heckington Position Type: Full-time, Permanent Hours: 40 Shift Pattern: 06:00 - 14:00, 14:00 - 22:00 (rotating weekly) Pay range: £12.10/hour (£25,168.00 equivalent) Breaks: 2 x 20 minutes PAID Overtime available As a Warehouse Operative, you will cover all aspects of warehouse operations at the site. You will be responsible for all pallets coming in from and going to the third-party distribution company – Knowles Transport. You will also be responsible for monitoring and maintaining the GMP (Good Manufacturing Practice) standards of the Warehouse & Fork Trucks at all times and will be required to support other areas of the operation as and when necessary. Responsible for wrapping all finished product from the production area that will be going to the third-party distribution company – Knowles Transport. Checking that pallet labels match what is on the pallet. E.G. best before dates and quantities etc Loading the double decker’s using the PPT trucks, scanning pallets as they are loaded and completing paperwork afterwards to give to the Lorry driver. Unloading the Lorry loads as they come in, recording the condition of the trailers and ensuring all pallets are scanned to the warehouse and any shortages/ damage reported immediately. When required, to help out in H3 or H4 warehouse. Putting pallets away into the racking and scanning all pallets that have been moved to the correct location. Operating a clean as you go policy to ensure the warehouse, goods out and truck remain clean at all times. All other reasonable duties as may be requested by the management from time to time. A good understanding of Stock Management Knowledge of GMP (Good Manufacturing Practice) compliance, regulatory requirements, housekeeping and health and safety. Must be open to working shifts A b ility to work under pressure G ood written and communications skills. Previous experience in Warehouse is be e ssential. Administration and clerical skills and PC literate including being able to work computer system to produce pick lists (training will be given ). Solid record of attention to detail and strict adherence to procedures. Reach truck license preferred but not essential Counterbalance licence preferred but not essentiall Have experience of using PPT (Powered Pallet Truck). A good understanding of Health & Safety in the workplace Happy to work overtime.
