We're looking to offer a salary of up to GBP 40,000per annum. In addition, we offer 25 days holiday (plus bank holidays), as well as the option to buy additional days. What you'll do on a typical day:
:
Responsibility for the management of customer stock from receipt to final last mile delivery.
:
Working within site KPI's in line with customer SLA.
:
Ensure all colleagues are appropriately inducted in quality, health, safety, and environment matters and any risks in the specific area of working practice, before commencing work.
:
Provide leadership and direction to the site.
:
Proactively plan and engage with other departments to ensure a collaborative approach and effective resolution of issues.
:
Be the point of escalation for Transport issues.
:
Build strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
:
Create and drive a culture of continuous improvement and lead process improvement activities.
:
Manage resources to maximise service and efficiencies.
:
Carry out Investigations and Disciplinaries as and when required.
:
Manage missing reports.
:
Manage damage reports.
:
Ensure systems are updated to maximise revenue.
:
Coach and manage all staff relevant to traffic.
:
Responsible for all Health, Safety, Security and Environmental procedures, ensuring that they are always followed, challenging non:conformances.

Create and maintain a culture where Health and Safety is priority
.

Monitor individual performance through the PDR and 1:2:1 programme.

Previous experience supervising and developing a team within a transport environment
