About the Department
Sat within the CFO function, the Financial and Commercial team is responsible for supporting an implementing robust models and process to support with your business planning and student planning. Being part of this team requires you to be forward thinking, playing a significant part in developing management information and scenario planning to support the University decision making processes.
About the role
We are now seeking an Analyst to join and lead on the modelling and forecasting for student planning.
Working closely with the Marketing and External Engagement directorate, Schools, and the Data Insight team you will be responsible for developing and delivering comprehensive management information that support budgets and business planning. This activity will not only support our understanding with our student number forecasting but will also have an impact on accommodation and space planning.
We are seeking someone who has first hand experience of working with large datasets and able to extract (using SQL) to create stories for our stakeholders to understand. You will be able to communicate with a range of stakeholder across a medium size organisation, providing succinct and effective data to inform some key decision.
