Libertatem Healthcare is seeking to recruit a Teaching Assistant with experience working with children with Cerebral Palsy to work with our client in his school in Houghton Regis.
The client is a young boy with epilepsy. He is currently PEG fed.
We are looking for a creative individual with a positive 'can do' attitude.
Hours: Thursday and Friday 08.30 – 15.30.
Responsibilities:
* Assisting with therapies and rehabilitation programs
* Assisting with personal care as needed
* Accessing the community and suitable activities
* Providing personalized support in a sensitive and confidential manner to the individual and family
* Thinking outside the box to come up with innovative ideas to help the client and family
Training & Background Checks:
An enhanced DBS check & full training will be provided prior to commencing work with our client. You will also be supported by our clinical lead nurse for the area.
This is a fantastic opportunity to develop your skills in support work while working alongside experienced therapists and professionals.
