The Marine Control Room Operator role influences across a wide range of work execution on site, therefore the successful candidate must be a great communicator, with the capacity to quickly transition between topics and time frames as part of the Operations and Maintenance Team, with proven Marine Experience. The role will require highly effective teamwork to ensure optimization/uptime of the plant and effective maintenance execution. What's the role? The Operations & Maintenance team consists of multiskilled technicians where all technicians will carry out cross discipline activities within their competence and capability. There will be a big focus on a "one team" culture and all technicians will be encouraged to contribute to all aspects across the disciplines of operations, maintenance, and the marine departments. As the marine CRO, you will execute marine activities as well as being a key person in maintaining the FPSOs CLASS status. It is expected that the marine CRO will work towards production CRO skills to fully integrate the two teams, conducting cross discipline activities within their competence and capability. This is an opportunity to further upskill your marine competence as well as gaining knowledge and skills within the production operations space. As the front-line focal point, you'll learn and understand the concept of Work Process Management and the application the Asset Management System (AMS) and how these interfaces and supports business delivery via other key processes as part of your day-to-day activities. What we need from you? We are looking for people to demonstrate excellent safety leadership and behaviours, embracing the Penguins Charter and inspiring their team to drive sustainable business and HSSE performance. You will bring excellent knowledge from your marine background which will be embedded into the rest of the Penguins team, assuming delegated authority for marine activities such as cargo loading and offloading, operating ballast systems to ensure stability, crude washing, inerting, gas freeing and preparations for tank entry operations. Furthermore, you will require to:
* Marine Control Room Operator Experience is required and must hold an International Convention on Standards of Training, Certification and Watchkeeping for Seafarers (STCW) Officer of the watch (OOW) (ideally with FPSO experience) OR sufficient experience in a marine position on an FPSO.
* Embed & sustain a seafaring mentality across the Asset "Everyone cares for people & equipment" identify and drive improvement opportunities.
* Actively promote and embed multi-skilling, enabling cradle to grave execution "one team".
* Apply all AMS processes relevant to role, and act as designated shift focal point for specific AMS Processes
* Understand the principles of management of change and apply the MoC process for appropriate change interventions taking into consideration risk, mitigation and HSSE issues
* Champion the Learner Mindset through the use of the Time Out for Safety process
* Able to operate all utility systems (including but not limited to: Compressed air, HVAC, Diesel systems etc)
* Actively participate in Safety auditing, Observation Cards, WCC/ICC Audits and Near Miss reporting
* Carry out planned, preventative, remedial and breakdown maintenance as directed by your Line Supervisor
* Experience of an electronic PTW/Maintenance management system is advantageous however not essential for example ISSOW, P-Vison, SAP or Maximo
* Fully conversant and utilise with the content of the Platform Operating Procedures (POPMs), Work Instructions as necessary to safely execute work
* Gain Awareness of the Platform Safety Case and fully understand your part in preventing MAH
* Be a part of the Emergency Response Team
* Complete the CRO Production Dealing with Emergencies Course within 6 months of starting position
