Working times are fairly flexible and can be negotiated, although ideally we would like to have administrative cover spread across the week at least 4 days per week (role is 29 hours per week in total). £12.21- £13.50 hr dependant on experience Main duties of the job A medical secretary provides administrative support to GP surgery staff and patients alike. You will need to be efficient at managing your time and confident working with IT equipment and electronic correspondence. You will need to be efficient in an office environment (typing, telephone work, recording information on computer system). Ideally you will have a knowledge of the local health services and be able to direct referrals to the correct services. About us Based in Brighton, we are a busy NHS GP surgery (based in Kemptown) with a patient list of approximately 7000 patients. We are walking distance from Brighton station and are on the bus route based off St James Street. We have a team of approximately 25 staff, we committed to working hard to give patients a good experience of NHS healthcare.
