We’re still at the start of our journey, and we’re looking to recruit a National Account Executive to join our retail team. This role will be crucial to help drive the next phase of growth, both in our UK market and internationally.
About the Role:
As National Account Executive, you will support the Head of Sales in day to day tasks, to ensure smooth running of the retail function, whilst actively owning your own retail accounts. There could also be business development opportunities for the right candidate. This role is ideal for somebody who is organised, able to manage multiple retail projects at once, and has experience working with the UK’s leading beauty retailers. Reporting directly into the Head of Sales, you will have significant exposure to operations inside and outside of the team, offering excellent cross functional collaboration opportunities.
Responsibilities:
* Supporting the Head of Sales on key strategic accounts within the retail function
* Ownership of smaller retail accounts, with guidance from Head of Sales where needed
* Responsible for administrative tasks to set up NPD, new retail accounts and nominate promotions eg. New Line Forms, promotional nomination forms, submitting required company information, assets etc
* Full ownership of tracking retail EPOS sales, and reporting back to the team on trends, performance and retail opportunities
* Store visits, to ensure SKU/VM build compliance and identifying key opportunities
* Supporting on retailer education eg. providing training tools, assets etc
* Supporting on in store Visual Merchandising builds – liaising with 3rd party supplier and internal Creative team to ensure fully compliant activation
* Working with retailer marketing teams to assess marketing opportunities in store and online eg. POS in store, .com marketing activities
Who we are looking for:
Experience:
* 2-5 year’s experience in managing or supporting on some of the UK’s leading beauty retailers such as Boots, Sephora and Selfridges. Multi-channel experience is beneficial
* Knowledge of eCommerce retailers is advantageous eg. ASOS, Beauty Bay
* International retail knowledge and experience is preferred but not essential
* Experienced in activating POS and in store Visual Merchandising builds, liaising with 3rd party suppliers
* Demonstrable drive to learn, win new business and build relationships with key retailers
Business Acumen:
* Strong commercial knowledge and understanding
Comfortable with interpreting data and using Excel
* Some experience in tracking sales data, budgeting and reporting
Industry Knowledge:
* Passion for the beauty industry, with an understanding of consumer behaviour and social media trends within the beauty sector
Soft Skills:
* Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work cross-functionally across teams
* Comfortable with difficult retailer conversations, with guidance from Head of Sales
* Highly organised with strong attention to detail, able to manage multiple projects and priorities simultaneously
* Ability to work remotely with occasional London travel
