I am currently hiring for 2 B1 Licensed Duty Manager on behalf of my client based in Luton. The Duty Manager will be a certifying engineer who leads and manages the day to day operational activities to ensure the safe and efficient operation of their responsible shift. They will be required to take on administrative and managerial duties including workload management and booking control, production planning and will be responsible for supervising and managing staff on shift. Role: B1 Licensed Engineer Duty Manager Salary: Upon application Location: Luton Shift Pattern: 5,5,4 - Days & Nights - Shifts can vary Responsibilities: To ensure all relevant staff on their shift are aware of all H & S obligations and responsibilities. Ensure staffing levels and skills are sufficient to fulfil shift requirements To aid the Customer Airlines on-time performance record To ensure all responsible staff are regularly briefed and aware of their responsibilities and updates. To ensure the line station is maintained in a clean, safe and efficient manner Complete and update as required - Line Station Status Production Plan Handover Diary Charge sheets Daily Station Teams update sheet Staff Temp Monitoring Form Station Cleaning Register Verify all tools and equipment have been returned and signed back in at the end of shift Delay Reports To ensure relevant procedures are followed, maintained and reviewed ensuring compliance with all regulations. To ensure all relevant directions, procedures and directives are followed and correctly read and recorded. Ensure all cost savings or potential overspends are brought to the attention of the Station Manager To ensure all overtime requirements are brought to the attention of the Station Manager preferably in advance for approval. To encourage a strong work ethic and encourage staff interaction across shift personal. To assess all work requests and requirements with particular attention to tooling, manpower and downtime. To manage and maintain a safe and efficient line maintenance operation. Aid in maintaining an efficient and effective shift to aid the continued airworthiness of Customer Aircraft. Training & Knowledge Required: A recognised apprenticeship within the aircraft industry or similar Essential: UK CAA B1 LICENCE - A320 Type Rating Required - Minimum 3 years of certifying experience.
