Job Title: Senior Instrumentation Engineer Contract: Permanent Salary: Competitive Location: Abingdon Role Overview - Senior Instrumentation Engineer Our leading manufacturing client who plays a key role in the semi-conductor technology sector are looking for a Senior Instrumentation Engineer to join their team at their facility located in Abingdon. The successful candidate will be responsible for the development and improvement of new and existing instrumentation systems. Develop solutions to manage specifications and breakdowns of systems in line with project goals. Working alongside a number of departments in the development, design and improvement of systems. Utilising hands on knowledge with equipment to develop an understanding of characteristics and performance of system designs. Developing and preparing a range of documentation. Identifying and resolving of systems faults. Key Experience & Qualifications - Senior Instrumentation Engineer Degree educated or equivalent in a Physics or Engineering related discipline. Proven experience in working with mechanical, electronic, software or control systems. Understanding of project management methods. FMEA experience.
