An excellent opportunity has arisen to join Kingdom Cleaning as a Part Time Cleaner, working at a retirement housing building in Hastings, TN34 area.
The Retirement Home Cleaner is responsible for ensuring a clean, safe, and welcoming environment for the residents, staff, and visitors of the retirement community.
This role requires attention to detail, compassion, and a commitment to maintaining a high standard of cleanliness in accordance with health and safety regulations.
Hours: 3 hours per week, shifts as per site rota. Friday's 11:00am - 14:00pm.
Pay rate: £11.44 per hour.

Responsibilities:
Below is not an exhaustive list and any other reasonable and fair role relevant tasks may be added:
* The Cleaner will be responsible for the cleaning of all areas within the contract.
* Achieving high standards, you will ensure the service is operated safely and hygienically.
* Clean and sanitize resident rooms, bathrooms, common areas, dining rooms, and recreational spaces.
* Empty trash bins, replace liners, and ensure proper disposal of waste, including hazardous waste where necessary.
* Dust and wipe down furniture, fixtures, and surfaces to maintain cleanliness.
* Sweep, mop, and vacuum floors; clean carpets and rugs.
* Ensure all cleaning tasks are done in a timely manner and to the required standard.
* Regularly disinfect high-touch areas such as door handles, railings, light switches, and shared equipment.
* Adhere to infection control protocols to prevent the spread of illness and protect residents.
* Treat residents with respect and empathy, ensuring their needs and privacy are respected.
* Respond to resident cleaning requests as needed and accommodate special requirements when possible.
