QA/QC Inspector
Role Overview:
Ensure client quality and process specifications are met while maintaining accurate records and high customer satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Conduct goods inward/outward inspections for quantity, condition, and documentation accuracy.
2. Ensure compliance with warehouse and client procedures, reporting non-conformities promptly.
3. Review and endorse certifications (Materials, Pressure Testing, Electrical/ATEX, NDT).
4. Archive client documentation and certification.
5. Build strong relationships with clients and key stakeholders.
6. Support continuous service improvement based on client feedback.
7. Prepare equipment and documentation for shipment.
8. Follow all safety protocols, participate in toolbox talks, and have the authority to “stop the job” if unsafe.
9. Assist the Warehouse Supervisor with tasks within capability.
10. Adhere to company procedures, HSE responsibilities, and company values.
Performance Metrics:
1. Client feedback and satisfaction.
2. Service delivery and dispatch readiness.
3. Safety performance and compliance reports.
Qualifications & Experience:
1. Experience in a warehouse/store environment; QC experience preferred.
2. Knowledge of test documentation and certifications.
3. Preferred experience in valves and pressure testing.
4. Understanding of manual handling and COSHH.
5. Mechanical or electrical engineering qualification.
6. Customs awareness and computer proficiency (Excel, Word, SAP).
