Device Management Engineer
Join our client's fast-growing business as a Device Management Engineer. You'll manage and administer over 12,000 devices, handling escalated incidents, software deployments, and day-to-day device administration.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Incident Management: Resolve device-related incidents escalated by the IT Service Desk.
2. Device Administration: Manage devices, including anti-virus, application deployment, and group policy.
3. OS Maintenance: Maintain and deploy operating system images.
4. Application Deployment: Package and deploy enterprise applications securely.
5. Service Promotion: Advocate for services like Office 365 and Adobe Creative Cloud.
6. On-site Support: Assist with device installations, including occasional travel.
Requirements:
7. Device Management Experience: Microsoft, Android, or Apple devices in an enterprise setting.
8. Technical Skills: Experience with Jamf, Soti, or SCCM/MECM, as well as mobile device management.
9. Application Packaging: Knowledge of packaging techniques and deployment methods.
10. Office 365: Experience supporting Office 365.
11. Networking: Understanding of DNS and DHCP.
12. Security Applications: Familiarity with enterprise anti-virus products.
13. Asset Management: Knowledge of asset management for hardware and software.
Skills:
14. Problem-Solving: Strong IT problem-solving skills.
15. Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
16. Organisation: Ability to prioritise and manage multiple tasks.
17. Pressure Handling: Work well under pressure.
