Are you a degree qualified Process Engineer who is capable of managing multiple projects who has a knowledge of lean improvement tools? Our client, a world leading aerospace and power generation manufacturer who would be very interested in your background In this role you will be involved in both reactive problem-solving and long-term strategic project work. You will be part of a team that have ownership of a production process, detecting trends or non-conformity, investigating root cause and implementing corrective actions. Hours - 8am - 4.15pm Permanent Key Responsibilities - Process Engineer Monitor process capability and understand Key Process Variables Manage risk of manufacturing processes through use of PFMEAs. Use the risk ranking to prioritise improvement activities. Monitor quality metrics (e.g. yield, RFT) at process level and present data at internal or customer reviews when requested. Use the data to implement improvement plans within the cell team. Investigate process deviations / non-conformance through use of appropriate problem-solving techniques and provide robust containment and corrective action in order to protect the customer.
