The Company
My client is a company that specializes in complete drainage services to corporate clients, managing mainly domestic and sometimes small commercial drainage failures. The company provides a quick and competitively priced response to their clients' needs, whether it be a simple blockage or a drain collapse. Due to recent expansion, they currently have an opportunity for an experienced Drainage Engineer located in and around the South West Regions.
The Role
You will predominantly be site-based, undertaking all drainage jobs while ensuring that work is completed on the first visit whenever possible. You will confidently explain to customers what work needs to be carried out, ensuring you leave them with peace of mind and confidence in the company’s abilities. We are ideally looking for an experienced drainage engineer with a variety of qualifications such as Confined Spaces, High Pressure Water Jetting, etc. Duties will include delivering a high-quality service to domestic and some commercial clients on a reactive and PPM basis. It is fundamental that applicants have a positive 'can do' attitude and a flexible approach to hard work and travel.
Responsibilities
* Basic groundworks, drain repairs, and reinstatements.
* Internal and external blockage resolving experience, mainly at domestic properties (some commercial at times).
* CCTV camera survey of drains, recording defects and recommending necessary repairs and follow-on remedial works.
* Complete paperwork and send it back to the office electronically using the company mobile phone.
* High Pressure Water Jetting skills are essential.
The Requirements
* Candidates will have a background and experience working in the drainage sector.
* Preferably have a CSCS card, High Pressure Water Jetting, Confined Spaces, and other related drainage industry tickets.
* Successful applicants will be subject to a criminal record and DVLA check.
The Rewards
The company is willing to pay a competitive starting salary of between £30,000 - £34,000 plus enhanced rate overtime, call-out, and the opportunity to train with and develop your career with one of the region’s premium drainage specialists. A company vehicle will be supplied, and commission and overtime rates will also be paid.
