Job summary We are offering an exciting opportunity for an experienced and enthusiastic person to support the Community Mental Health Team. This post is based at Daisyfield Mill, Appleby Street, Blackburn, BB1 3BL. The post is 37.5 hours per week, working 9am - 5pm, Mon to Fri. Qualifications needed: NVQ level 3 administrative qualification or equivalent experience, RSA 2 or equivalent, ECDL or equivalent experience. This is an exciting opportunity for enthusiastic and motivated individuals to join a community based mental health service and work as part of a multi-disciplinary team. This team includes psychological therapists, nurses, support time and recovery workers, social workers, occupational therapists and psychiatrists. You must be able to provide efficient administrative support and have excellent IT, keyboard and data inputting skills. You will also require strong interpersonal skills, be able to demonstrate initiative and the ability to organise your workload effectively. The role requires attending meetings and minute taking.The work is varied, interesting and demanding and candidates need to be organised, flexible and reliable. Main duties of the job The post holder will provide a comprehensive administration and information service and coordinate their activities with other members of the administration team to ensure an efficient and confidential service is provided. The post holder will be aligned to a specific clinical team and is required to work flexibly in response to the needs of the service providing cover to other teams on various sites as directed by the Team Leader in liaison with Locality Admin Co-ordinator to ensure continuity of a quality service.
