The Role: Textiles Teacher As a Textiles Teacher, you will: Teach Textiles across Key Stages 3 and 4, delivering engaging, hands-on lessons in design, construction, and textile technologies. Foster an understanding of fashion design, fabric technology, and the creative process behind textiles. Lead practical sessions, guiding students through design development, sewing techniques, and fabric manipulation. Collaborate with the department to ensure the curriculum is fresh, relevant, and challenges students creatively. Lead and contribute to extracurricular activities such as fashion shows, design exhibitions, and textile-related competitions. The Ideal Candidate We are looking for someone who: Has a passion for textiles education and expertise in fashion design, fabric technology, and textile construction.
