Job title: Quality Control Technician
Location: Wokingham (on site Monday to Friday)
Contract length: 1 month

Purpose of the role:
1. Carry out formal product testing for new and existing products, product iterations and associated disposable products; testing undertaken following established company test procedures, work instructions or free format testing to agreed timescales.
2. Assisting in producing test data and accompanying spreadsheet data to support the needs.
3. Be proactive throughout testing to maintain efficient test completion.
4. Assist with the development of new test procedures and new test equipment to enhance the capabilities of the Product Test Lab.
Job Responsibilities: (Primary Duties, Roles, and/or Authorities)
5. Perform testing outlined in test protocols and work instructions.
6. Record neat and accurate results in hard copy and electronic.
7. Ensures the laboratory equipment is maintained and within calibration dates.
8. Communicates any anomalies regarding test objects or results to the Senior Tech and /or Lab Manager
9. Assist with any investigations, prototypes or free-format testing when required.
10. Support any department with advice, training, expertise, and administration if required.
11. Performs additional administration jobs to maintain lab/or support Test lab Manager
About you:
The successful applicant preferably hold a scientific qualification, such as BSc/MSc or similar with some laboratory/ quality control experience and will have the following skills and knowledge:
12. Familiarity with commonly used PC applications- Excel and Word
13. Ability to read and interpret documentation in English
14. Attention to detail
15. Good documentation practices
16. Good time management and personal discipline
17. Good analytical, process and interpersonal skills
Desirable:
18. Experience of working with Quality/ISO procedure will be beneficial
19. Methodical and organised with good attention to detail
20. Able to perform repetitive tasks with dedication and accuracy
21. Self-motivated but also able to be part of a team
22. Ability to work well under pressure
