Summary
Baxter, Thetford is searching for an experienced Multi-skilled Maintenance Engineer to join our fast-paced team. You will provide plant wide reactive and proactive maintenance and support new installations and projects across site. This is a fantastic opportunity to join a team/company who are passionate about saving and sustaining lives and delivering the highest quality products to our patients. You will work rotating shifts Monday – Sunday, 06:00-18:00/18:00-06:00 and receive a competitive salary of £48,000.
Duties & Responsibilities
1. Carry out all planned and reactive maintenance on production equipment.
2. Raise corrective and reactive maintenance dockets on Maximo.
3. Assist and support queries to identify improvements to the stores system.
4. Review planned and preventative maintenance procedures and suggest improvements.
5. Escalate issues when necessary, in a timely manner.
6. Identify areas for improvement across site.
7. Deliver all activities at the standards required by GMP.
Experience & Education
1. 2-3 years’ experience in a manufacturing environment.
2. HNC or equivalent in electrical and mechanical engineering.
3. High degree of competency in electrical and mechanical fault finding.
4. Experience with Schematics Wiring and Circuitry.
5. Experience with automation and robotics.
6. Good experience of working in a fast-paced environment.
7. Good level of electrical (Safety cct and controllers), mechanical knowledge and understanding in a manufacturing environment.
8. Multiskilled discipline (Electrical & Mechanical).
9. Working knowledge of pneumatic and hydraulic systems.
10. Experience of working in a validated & regulated environment essential.
11. Show excellent communication skills.
12. Work as part of a wider team but also show the ability to work independently.
