Lakeside Primary School is a large and busy primary school in Up Hatherley. The Head Teacher seeks to appoint an outstanding, resilient and self-motivated professional to the post of full time KS1 teacher to join our school team from September 2025. This is a one-year fixed term contract.
We are interested in hearing from candidates with proven track records of teaching in Year 2. The school is an inspiring, rewarding and happy place – a true slice of society - with children and families who really give back when you put in. The successful candidate will understand the importance of the transitional journey through key stage one and into Year 3 and, particularly for those children with special educational needs. Familiarity with Essential Letters & Sounds as a scheme for delivering systematic synthetic phonics is desirable.
