The role
A vibrant, supportive and very highly regarded special needs school in Stockport is seeking to appoint a full time SEND Teacher to deliver a SEND curriculum to students with complex educational needs. Ability levels can vary considerably and a willingness to deliver more than one curriculum area is desired for the role of SEND Teacher. You will be joining a new state of the art school with advanced resources and you will have access to an exceptional training package that will support you in developing your specialist SEN skill-set.
Requirements
1. Experience working within a SEND school or with children/young people with physical or learning disabilities is essential for this teaching role.
2. SEN teaching experience is strongly preferred - primary / EYFS experience desirable.
3. Possess a recognised UK teaching qualification.
4. Experience of teaching SEN students with complex communication and educational needs.
5. The skills to help complex SEN students succeed following a multi-disciplinary approach.
