We are looking for an Estate and Community Officer to support the Farm Estate Manager and lead on coordinating events. Job Title: Bere Marsh Farm Estate and Community OfficerLocation: Bere Marsh FarmJob Purpose: To support the Farm Estate Manager and lead on coordinating eventsReporting Line: Bere Marsh Farm Estate Manager – Chief Executive OfficerHours: 24 hours per week, all year round.The post-holder will be expected to work such hours as may be reasonably required of them, or as may be necessary for the proper and efficient performance of their duties. Flexibility with working hours will be required in this role. With events and activities taking place at different times of the day/week.Salary: £18 - 21k pro rata, depending on experience and subject to review following a 6 month probation. Key responsibilities are: To be the first point of contact for all enquiries via the Farm Office: General enquiries, events, volunteering, burial ground, etc. To work with Marketing and Communications personnel to develop a comprehensive program of events at Bere Marsh Farm, for appropriate use of facilities throughout the year. To provide practical support for all events at the farm - some weekend work may be required with TOIL to compensate. To maintain office records. (weather, burial ground, events calendar) To support the Manager with administrative tasks, such as routine H&S checks, vehicle services, general upkeep of the farm office, etc. To be flexible and adaptable as activities at the farm grow.
