Main duties of the job
As a key member of the Royal Devon University Healthcare NHS Foundation Trust, you will be joining an exceptional team working together to help our patients to stay healthy when they need it most.
Job responsibilities
An exciting and varied opportunity has arisen to join the Cancer Services Administrative team working as a Ward Administrator across Cherrybrook and Yarty Day Case areas, also coordinating the Health Care at Home, Boots Nominated Pharmacy, and the Medical Ambulatory services.
We are seeking to recruit a self-motivated, well-organised, and enthusiastic individual. Key responsibilities for this role include:
1. Supporting the Clinical team on a day-to-day basis.
2. Ensuring patient treatments are booked appropriately in line with the patient clinical pathway.
3. Ensuring delivery of medications is received in a timely manner.
4. Prioritising tasks using your own initiative and organising your time appropriately.
5. Building good working relationships across the Multi-disciplinary team.
Working Pattern: 28 hours per week, over 3 days working two days of 08:00 - 18:00 and one day of 08:00 - 17:30. The day off will be subject to agreement with the Team Leader. There is an expectation that the successful candidate may be required to work a Bank Holiday or Saturday depending on service demands.
