Your role
As the Kiosk Greenford Quay Manager, your primary focus will be to lead and manage the day to day operations of Kiosk Greenford Quay, including managing the physical space, building relationships with local communities and delivering excellent customer service.
What will you be doing?
* Day to day operations: you will manage all aspects of the day to day operations of the Kiosk Greenford Quay space, including managing and maintaining the Kiosk Greenford Quay physical space and conducting regular inspections to ensure all physical aspects of the location, including the concessions, meet the standards for safety, cleanliness, appearance and quality. Additionally you will be responsible for overseeing the café bar area.
* Managing compliance: you will be responsible for health and safety and compliance, preparing all required supporting documentation including Health and Safety, Fire Risk Assessment and incident reporting.
* Relationship management: you will manage relationships with Kiosk Greenford Quay occupiers and support the tenancy management process, this will include supporting Greenford Quay leasing activities as required, including viewings. As the site manager, you will interact with residents and visitors to Kiosk Greenford Quay, responding to questions, actively seeking feedback and taking appropriate action to resolve any issues and improve visitor experience. Additionally, you will manage the day to day relationship with the onsite estate team.
* Events management: you will manage the Kiosk Greenford Quay calendar and the events and enlightenment programme, being the main point of contact for all Kiosk Greenford Quay events and activations, including outdoor activations. You will be responsible for communication with events hosts and the on site team for all planned events and ensure all events standards and operational requirements are met. Additionally you will identify and source collaborators for Kiosk Greenford Quay activities including exhibitions and events.
* Digital Content: you will work closely with the Digital Content Creator to plan the Kiosk Greenford Quay social calendar and approve all copy and assets. You will be responsible for updating the Kiosk website with the latest Greenford Quay event information.
* Team Management: as the site manager, you will be responsible for the development and performance of the internal Greenford Quay team through the direct line management of the Greenford Quay Assistant, fostering an inclusive, collaborative and supportive team culture.
* Social and environmental impact: you will work to uphold the documented social and environmental policies and procedures and identify and implement social and environmental improvement opportunities for the day to day operation of Kiosk Greenford Quay.
What skills & experience youll bring to us
* Excellent customer service skills with extensive experience in a customer facing service delivery role, ideally in a hospitality role. Experience of managing a community café, community pub or similar would be relevant to this role
* Strong relationship building skills
* Communication skills
* Planning and organisation skills with the ability to multi task and prioritise
* Flexible approach to work with the ability to adapt to a changing environment
* Event management experience
* People management skills
* Interest in arts, culture and placemaking
* Knowledge of the Greenford area with connections to local communities is preferred
Location & commitments
* Permanent, full-time role
* The role will require some evening, weekend and bank holiday working
* Based in Kiosk Greenford Quay with time at a-r-c-s London Head Office and other Kiosk.World locations as required
* Position reports to: Place Director
