We are looking for an enthusiastic SEMH Teaching Assistant to join a school in the Leeds area. This is a full-time, Monday to Friday role, offering £90 - £110 per day with standard working hours of 8.30 AM to 3.30 PM. Full-time roles are available immediately, and Team Teach qualification is preferred.
Responsibilities:
1. Provide individual and small group support to students with SEMH needs, helping them to manage their emotions, behaviour, and learning.
2. Implement individualised learning plans and strategies to promote positive behaviour and emotional development.
3. Support students in managing behavioural challenges and de-escalating situations using Team Teach techniques (preferred).
4. Work closely with teachers and SENCOs to create an inclusive and supportive learning environment.
5. Assist with social skills development and building student confidence through structured activities and one-to-one support.
