Description The Role We are seeking an Operative 3/4 to safely undertake a variety of manual tasks, typically as part of a team, requiring extensive technical and practical knowledge and skills in delivering CORMAC’s operational services. As an Operative, your responsibilities will be but not limited to; Assisting in Laying of Kerbs and New Drainage lines to line and levels Shovelling and laying on site materials Digging trenches, compacting, and backfilling holes Mixing concrete-based materials Tidying as the sites progresses Loading and unloading materials and equipment Leading by example to others on site Assisting 1 st and 2 nd Level operative workers To find out more please take a look at the role profile About You We are seeking candidates who meet the following criteria: A solid understanding of health and safety practices Previous experience in the civil construction industry Resilience and readiness to work outdoors in all weather conditions A valid driving licence, with experience driving 3.5t and 7.5t vehicles (licence dependent) A valid CSCS card NRSWA qualification Experience operating small powered equipment, such as disc cutters, petrol breakers, and wacker plates (advantageous but not essential) A willingness to learn and progress within the company If you meet these qualifications and are ready to take on a challenging and rewarding role, we would love to hear from you.
